EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a trauma-focused therapy designed to help people heal from distressing experiences that continue to affect how they think, feel, and respond in the present. Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, EMDR helps the brain process difficult memories so they become less emotionally overwhelming.
EMDR may be helpful for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, painful memories, grief, fears, and negative beliefs such as “I’m not good enough,” “I’m unsafe,” or “It was my fault.”
Our approach can also integrate Christian faith and Scripture, helping clients process painful experiences while developing healthier beliefs, emotional freedom, and a renewed sense of hope.
You cannot change what happened—but you can change how it affects you.
